Welcome To Richardson Professional Home Child Care Association, I am Melanie Perry, Owner and President of RPHCCA. I have been President since 1999 and took over as owner in 2001. I hope you find this site helpful. I have appointed Ms. Brenda Inman to accept calls and make referrals to those who are associated with our group. You can contact her with your requests at 972-690-5596. She will be glad to assist you in locating someone associated with our group in the area which would best suit your needs. We are a members only group of women who take great pride in our work and strive to keep the utmost ethics and superior service in our business'. RPHCCA offers parents free in home child care referrals in Richardson, Plano, Garland, and surrounding areas. Registered Family Homes and Listed Homes offer low child ratios and age appropriate activities. RPHCCA care givers are trained in Nutrition, CPR, First aid, Prevention of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and Shaken Baby, Infant / Toddler Brain Development, Child Development, and Professional Business practices. It is your responsibility, as a parent, to make sure that health and safety standards meet your approval.

Texas sets minimum health, safety and nutrition standards for providers. Texas also requires family child care providers to have a criminal records check and/or child abuse and neglect clearance. Providers must have pre-service and on-going training. TDPRS inspects "Registered" Family child care homes annually or on a random sample basis and the City Of Richardson inspects "Registered" Family child care homes semi-annualy. *Please note that "Listed" homes are not inspected by the city or state unless a complaint is filed. |
